Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Protected Area (KMMPA) comprises of the Kisite Marine National Park and Mpunguti Marine National Reserve. Areas adjacent to the KMMPA have also been included in the planning areas as most of the threats to the MPA’s ecological integrity emanate from these areas.
